Meet The Owners

Chad and Megan Collins are the foundation of this company, which has been growing for nearly 20 years. Chad is a third-generation logger; he has been involved with timberlands since his early childhood. Through all of the hard work and experience, Chad jumped at his first opportunity to go into business independently. At only 18-years-old he was able to buy his first log truck hauling wood to the mills. After two years of running his one truck, Chad finally established his own fully mechanized logging operation. It was a lot of responsibility for a young 20-year-old, but with his determination and ability to navigate through adversity, the business has continued to grow over the years.

About Us

Based out of Nacogdoches, Texas, and with branches extending beyond state lines, we have built various services to provide landowners with the best available options for completing the presented tasks.

We handle all types of timber properties and can perform any style of timber harvest for hunting, recreational, leisure, and investment properties.

Collins Land and Timber is currently operating two personal crews and five contract crews for fully mechanized timber harvesting, along with land clearing, dirt work, and mulching crews to fulfill any of the landowner’s requests. Our team will work with you to establish your goals and customize a plan to achieve the best results. With CLT, you are working directly with the logger to achieve the highest return on investment.
